How to give a pattern as a gift
- Pick the patternUse the gift finder above, or browse the shop by theme.
- Buy it on EtsyCheckout takes a minute, and the files are ready under Purchases on Etsy right away.
- Download the PDFChoose the language they read best – every pattern comes in English, Spanish, French and German.
- Give itEmail the PDF to them, or print it and wrap it with fabric, floss and a hoop. You’re welcome to give a pattern you bought to one person as a gift – please just don’t share it more widely.
What to give with it
- Fabric A piece of 14 count Aida in white or cream – each pattern lists the fabric to cut.
- Floss The DMC colors listed in the pattern’s floss key, one skein each unless it says more.
- Hoop A wooden hoop a little bigger than the design, 6 inches (15 cm) for most small patterns.
- Needles A pack of size 24 tapestry needles (blunt tips, made for cross stitch).
